Grade 5 Titanium Specification
Features Torx drive instead of hex key for secure grip and more visual appeal. 6AL/4V Grade 5 titanium fasteners offer a superior strength-to-weight ratio that is 4X times stronger than 316 stainless steel at nearly half the weight. Grade 5 titanium is extremely corrosion resistant. It is widely considered the gold standard for applications where chlorines and salt water contact parts. We spared no expense sourcing our exact specifications.
Option 1 - Z06 Engine Builder Plaque Fasteners. Includes 2 fasteners and works with the factory cheese plastic plaque or our exquisitely designed billet engine or carbon fiber plaques. Just get one of our Z06 Engine Builder Plaques now and stop embarrassing your engine builder with that $3 factory plaque. Supplied with nylon washers. Fitment for 2020+ Coupe or HTC.
Option 2 - Hatch Support Bolts. Includes 6 bolts and works with the stamped steel factory triangles or better yet... yep, we have the leading product to replace those too. Please don't spray paint the factory triangles or buy peg leg supports on E-Bay. We've already perfected this design with our C8RallyDriver RaceLite Hatch Supports Supplied with nylon washers. Installation
Fasteners and bolts are prepared with VibraTite VC-3 Threadlocker to prevent vibration back-out. The VC-3 has a pink/red appearance and is not visible once installed. DO NOT remove this coating prior to installation.
