Carbon Fiber Z06 Engine Builder Plaque by C8RallyDriver
The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 engine builder plaque is a personalized plaque that identifies the builder of your Z06 engine at the Bowling Green, Kentucky Corvette Assembly Plant. Each Z06 engine is hand-built by a single craftsman at the Performance Build Center (PBC). The plaque is mounted between the air plenums and is signed by the person who built the engine.
C8RallyDriver has improved on the design and the quality of the Corvette engine builder plaque. The GM factory plaque is made of plastic and hardly does the LT6 justice for how awesome the engine looks nestled into the C8 engine bay.
The CARBON FIBER VERSION of the C8RallyDriver Corvette Z06 Engine Builder Plaque is offered in 2x2 twill weave and forged carbon fiber. The 2x2 is a standard industry weave and matches all C8RallyDriver carbon fiber products as well as most manufacturers of high quality aftermarket carbon fiber products.

This is a cost effective product for quickly upgrading the appearance of your Z06 LT6 flat-plane crank engine and dramatically improve the style of your C8 engine bay in about 10 minutes. For the ultimate in customization and appearance, select the option for custom Titanium fasteners available in multiple finishes.
Included
Presentation box with engine plaque, pre-affixed VHB name plate tape, two black stainless steel fasteners, two custom black titanium washers, and two rubber vibration dampening washers. Does not include the engine builder name plate that is unique to each LT6 engine. The name plate must be transferred from the plastic factory engine builder plaque.
Fitment
2023+ Corvette Z06 Coupe and Hard Top Convertible LT6 Engines. Dimensions allow for factory fitment of the GM carbon fiber engine/plenum cover. No modifications are required for installation or use.
Installation
Remove the aluminum engine builder name plate carefully with a non-metal pry tool from the factory plastic engine builder plaque. The name plate is very soft aluminum and will separate from the double sided tape with heat applied to the back of the factory plastic plaque. Clean the name plate residual adhesive before attaching it to your new C8RallyDriver Z06 Engine Builder Plaque. Do not use a chemical cleaner or acid based cleaner. The included mounting fasteners are already prepared with VibraTite VC-3 Threadlocker. This prevents vibration back out of the supplied fasteners. The VC-3 application has a pink/red appearance and is not visible once the fasteners are installed. DO NOT REMOVE the VC-3 coating from the fasteners prior to installation. Install the rubber dampening washers on the back of the plaque and hand tighten the screws to complete installation.
