How to Install the C8 Corvette Trunk Cover

Installing a C8RallyDriver trunk cover takes about 15 minutes — install the snap studs, snap it on, done! Watch the video, then follow the steps below.

Installation steps

  1. Open the trunk. Remove the T15 fasteners as indicated in the diagarm above.
  2. Install the new snap studs. Do not overtighten! Use a screwdriver not a drill or impact driver.
  3. Lay the trunk cover in your trunk. Working around the perimeter from one corner by hand, snap on the cover.
  4. It will stretch to fit and then use the bungee cord hooks to hook under the front of the trunk tub. Done — it's fully removable. 
  5. Notes: If it is cold, lay flat in the sun for a few minutes so it will stretch to fit.  Do not pull on the fabric or yank it off to uninstall - release each snap individaully working back around the perimeter to prevent damage to the snap stud and the fabrin around the snap socket.  It will last longer this way and not void your warranty.
